The Obama Administration Plan for Energy

2009 Update: Under President Obama, Fuel-Testers again has hope that we will see some progress in curing our foreign oil addiction .
The energy policies over the past decade (Bush Administration) have been a complete failure and waste of taxpayer money - For years we were told all the ethanol subsidies/tax credits would help to switch from petroleum to E85 (flex fuel), but the plan failed, and instead most states are meeting their Renewable Fuel quotas (see RFS) solely by forcing consumers to purchase conventional gasoline with up to 10% ethanol - (Does almost nothing to decrease petroleum consumption).
