  • Federal law does NOT require gas pumps to be labeled when ethanol (E10) is added to gasoline.
  • Each state decides whether or not they will require E10 sticker labeling.
  • Gas station personnel should be able to answer any questions on gas composition and ethanol.
  • Gas station personnel can provide you the name & contact information for the fuel distributor (where ethanol is added).
  • Several type of engines recommend against use of ethanol (alcohol) gasoline.
  • Some states have chosen to exclude ethanol from their premium grade of gas.
